Spamassassin is a fantastic program, eliminating over 95% of spam emails. It is the highest rated spam filter program that we are aware of with very few falsely tagged messages.
When using Spam Assassin, you may choose to enable a spam box. This folder must be checked on a regular basis using the webmail program Horde through control panel. If messages are permitted to build up in the Spam folder, you could run out of space for email and your mail box will show as full. It may also mean you will not be able to receive any email or update your web content.
Here's an idea to simplify your life using Spamassassin. Rather then enabling the spam box which must be checked constantly through web mail, create a folder named SPAM in your email client and disable spam box in cPanel control panel. Then using your message rules function in your email client have all incoming messages with "Spam detection software," without the quotes and don't forget the comma, in the body transferred to your SPAM or JUNK MAIL folder. You can then check that at your leisure without worrying about your account on the server filling up.
If you don't really want to check your spam tagged messages you could also set your local filter to just delete them. You may also set a filter on the server to delete them at the server level. This will eliminate the need to download spam to your account, speeding up your time when checking email and saving you bandwidth.
The recommended procedure for using Spamassassin is as follows
Enable Spamassassin on the server (cPanel control panel)
Do not enable Spambox
Use the method above to create a folder on your local computer and run it for a month or longer depending on your comfort level. During this period, "whitelist" any erroneously tagged email senders in the Spamassassin configuration section on cPanel.
After the above period of time, use the server email filter to just delete any tagged spam messages.

What do you charge for bandwidth overage costs?
We charge $1.50 per GB for a site transfer overage (for up to 10GB/bw). This overage cost is only charged if the site is using a large excess of bandwidth (over 3GB). Any site using great amounts of bandwidth will be suspended and the owner emailed should the overage get out of hand (over 10GB). Users may opt to upgrade to a plan which can encompass their usage at anytime. Please note that "out of hand" sites (those utilizing more than 30GB/BW over quota) will be charged up to $7/gb (overage costs may vary due to severity) due to server bandwidth overage costs.
